WHY FOCUS ON LAND?
Land is a natural resource, created and given to us by God to nurture and subdue, (Genesis 1:28), just out of His pure love to us. Though we all depend on it for many things, a times we do not seem to worry so much to care for the mother earth, which is unreasonable thing to do. It is always reasonable therefore to give it the care it deserves and in return reap optimal benefits from it sustainably; meaning that the generations to come after us still enjoy all its natural products and services as we do today. Meaning: the rivers will keep flowing, will keep breathing fresh air, and will enjoy fresh produce from our gardens today and for ages to come. If we decide to be irrational, and do the opposite, the result will be dire: severe calamities such as landslides, Erosion, desertification just to mention a few. All resulting to a degraded land and deformed landscapes; drought, famine and hunger; leaving the mankind in state of helplessness, anguish and groaning poverty that of course lead to the grave
